Athletic participation and physical information
Parents and Students: It's that time of year again! All students 7-12 who will participate in athletics are required to have a current Athletic Pre-Participation Physical Examination. Parents and students must also review the Concussion Fact Sheet and sign the Acknowledgement Form. Forms may be submitted to the MS or HS office. Students will not be allowed to practice or participate in games until forms are updated and received by the school. Contact Cassie Harris at charris@tctrojans.org with any questions. |
State Special Olympics results
On May 23, 24, and 25 the Tri-Center Special Olympic team competed in Ames at State competition in several events. Although the Bocce Singles was canceled because of rain, the team proved they were ready for any challenge. Cole Osbahr came home with a gold medal in the 400-meter race and a silver medal in soccer skills. Elijah Bearley brought home the gold medal in the 800-meter walk race. Kaleigh Gillespie came home with the gold in the 400-meter race with a personal best time; Kaleigh also brought home the gold in soccer skills and placed seventh in the softball throw. Joslyn Punteney won the gold in the softball throw, silver in soccer skills, and silver in the 200-meter race. Miles Lee won a gold medal in the softball throw and gold in the 100-meter race with a personal best time. |
Special Olympics State Summer Games May 23-25
The Special Olympic team will be competing at State Summer Games on May 23, 24, & 25 in Ames. Elijah Bearley will compete in the 800 meter walk race. Kaleigh Gillespie will compete in the 400 meter race, softball thrown and soccer skills. Miles Lee will compete in the 100 meter race and softball throw. Cole Osbahr will compete in the 400 meter race, bocce singles, and soccer skills. Joslyn Punteney will compete in the 200 meter race, softball thrown and soccer skill. |
2019 State Track results
Tri-Center girls and Brett McGee ran amazing at State Track. Lots of season PRs and a few school records broken. Congratulations on a great season! 2019 Tri-Center Summer Band Camp is July 30-August 2
The Tri-Center band camp will be held on Tuesday, July 30th - Friday, August 2nd. The camp is for grades 9-12 with selected Jr. High band members attending. Percussion will start at 9 am and winds will start at 10 am and will run till 2 pm. The more band members we have at the camp, the better start we have to our 2019 marching season so please plan vacations accordingly! |
