8th grade students and parents are strongly encouraged to attend this event to listen and learn about future career trends and the impact of high school course of study related to postsecondary education options and various career pathways. Mini breakout sessions hosted by local business and industry professionals are available based on student interest and potential career pathways. Last year’s event included professionals such as: nurses, radiology technicians, attorneys, aviation pilots, robotics engineers, bankers, law enforcement officers, emergency medical technicians,, culinary chefs, hotel managers, computer programmers, IT technicians, radio and tv journalists and technicians, construction managers and operators, early child care providers, teachers, social workers, transportation and logistics managers, and more.
