Tri-Center Elementary held its 17th annual Jump Rope for Heart on Tuesday, April 7th.  Jump Rope for Heart is a special events program which raises funds to support the American Heart Association.  K-5 students participate in 10 different exercise stations and learn how important exercise is for a healthy heart.  At one station when they jump rope 20 times they can tape a heart on the wall.  At the end of the day we had 1,732 hearts on the wall for 34,640 jumps at one station! Congratulations to 2nd grader, Haley Stangl, who raised $1,042 for the cause!

The total money collected to donate to the AHA is:  $5,085.45!
