Elementary News: Matson named 2016 Iowa Reading Teacher of the Year

Midlands of Iowa Reading Council has announced that the Iowa Reading Awards Committee has named Wendy Matson, Tri-Center first grade teacher, the 2016 Iowa Reading Teacher of the Year.

Wendy will receive her plaque and will be honored at the Awards Banquet on Tuesday evening, June 28th at the state reading conference. The banquet will be at the Scheman building on the Iowa State University campus, the same place as the conference, and will begin at 6:30 PM.

Congratulations Mrs. Matson!
