Mrs. Finken's 2nd grade recently had a visit from Christina Roelofs of the Shelby County Conservation Board. Christina taught the kids about animals in winter and the difference between hibernating and estivating. She also brought along furs from animals such as squirrels, fox, beavers, deer, skunks, badgers, mountain lions, wolves, and a bear for the kids to feel. Their favorite part of all was the live corn snake!
