Tri-Center band students chosen to perform in the Southwest Iowa 51st Annual High School Honor Band were Luke Hundtofte, trumpet; Joey Wohlers, trombone; Marie Ohlinger, alto saxophone; Trinity Weers, oboe; Justice Weers, trumpet. Luke and Justice were members of the freshmen/sophomore band.  Joey, Marie, and Trinity were members of the junior/senior band. Tryouts for the band were held in December.  On January 14th, the students traveled to Atlantic, Iowa to practice during the day with honor band members chosen from across Southwest Iowa.  A concert was held at 7:00 in the evening.  The Tri-Center students band director is Paul Hart. Marie Ohlinger was also recognized at the concert for being a six-year Southwest Iowa Honor Band Member.
