The 7th graders won a thrilling game 18-16 against Treynor on October 2. Trevor Carlson scored the first touchdown for Tri-Center. Going into the fourth quarter, Tri-Center was down 6-16. Carlson would score another touchdown and the the Trojans were able to recover an onside kick. Bryson Freeberg ran in the go ahead to touchdown to give Tri-Center the win with the final score of 18-16. The 8th grade played a very good overall game winning 34-8. Most of the first half was scoreless, but Kyle Siebels ran in a touchdown on the last play of the 2nd quarter. Wyatt Andersen would punch in the two point conversion. On the first play of the 3rd quarter, Siebels would connect with Andersen for a long touchdown pass. Later in the quarter, Jacob Manhart would run in a touchdown. Treynor would score, but Andersen would run back the next kickoff. Michael Baker ran in the two-point conversion. Trevor Nelson recovered a fumble setting up the final touchdown, a run by Siebels. |
