Music News: Christmas Extravaganza December 12th at 7 PM

posted Dec 5, 2016, 9:30 AM by TC Administrator
On Monday, December 12th, the Tri-Center Music Department will have it's annual Christmas Extravaganza at 7:00pm in the Tri-Center High School Gym.  The concert will include music ensembles from 6th to 12th grades.  Besides working hard to prepare for the concert, Mr. Hart and Mrs. & Mr. Baker have been focusing on concert etiquette.  We want students to understand what is appropriate behavior when attending a concert.  Here are guidelines concerning audience behavior that we would hope both performers and listeners would exhibit:

1. Please stay seated during a performance.  Proper etiquette dictates that audience members do not move around during a concert number.  If you must get up to leave the gym, please do so during a break between ensembles or numbers.

2. Please refrain from talking during a performance.

3. Please refrain from using your device during a performance.

4. Please refrain from calling out or shouting out during the concert!  This is more of a student rule, but a gentle reminder never hurts!

These behaviors will help to ensure that everyone can enjoy the concert, and we appreciate your willingness to comply with these suggestions!  We hope everyone will come to enjoy a wonderful concert that helps to usher in the holiday season!
