Music News: Five participate in SWIBA Junior High Band; Weers and Matter-Cherek named to All Iowa 8th Grade Honor Band

On Friday, November 13th, Joey Wohlers, Seann Matter-Cherek, Trinity Weers, Luke Lehan, and Luke Hundtofte participated in the SWIBA Junior High Band. The students had a fun day capped off by a great concert in the evening!

A special congratulations to Trinity Weers and Seann Matter-Cherek for being accepted into the 2016 All Iowa 8th Grade Honor Band! They will travel to Des Moines in May for a rehearsal and performance during the Iowa Bandmasters Convention. They were accepted into the honor band by being 1st chair on their individual instruments at the SWIBA district honor band. Congrats to these two fine young musicians!
