Music News: Four TC students named to SWIBA JH Honor Band; Hundtofte named to All-Iowa 8th Grade Band

In late October, 14 Tri-Center Junior High Band students auditioned for the SWIBA Junior High Honor Band. The festival was held on Friday, November 11th at the Denison Fine Arts Center. We had four TC kids make the honor band. Those students were:

Justice Weers - Trumpet

Brett McGee - Bari Sax

Laura Brockhoff - Percussion

Luke Hundtofte - Trumpet

The students had a wonderful day rehearsing with their band and put on a fantastic concert in the evening! Mr. Hart would like to congratulate all the students who auditioned for putting forth effort to improve and be their best! A special congratulations to Luke Hundtofte for being selected into the All-Iowa 8th Grade Band which will perform at the Iowa Bandmasters Association convention in May!
