Music News: Raine named to All State Chorus

Congratulations to Senior Jacob Raine, who has attained the highest individual honor available to an Iowa high school musician by being elected as a member of the 2016 All State Chorus. Auditions for the 280 piece All State Band, 200 piece All State Orchestra, and 600 member All State Chorus were held Saturday, October 22. Seven Tri-Center students were among the approximately 6,400 students who auditioned statewide. Only around 17% of those who audition are selected. The All State Festival will be held Friday and Saturday, November 18 and 19, with the Festival Concert at 7:30 PM on November 19 at Hilton Coliseum in Ames. Congratulations to Jacob, and to all of our excellent Tri-Center music students!
