Paul Hart awarded Charles E. Lakin Outstanding Teacher runner-up

Tri-Center music and band instructor Mr. Paul Hart has been awarded the 2015 Charles E. Lakin Outstanding Teacher runner-up award. Hart, a member of the Tri-Center staff since 2009, was recognized and awarded $5,000 for the achievement.

For the past seven years, KMA and the Green Hills Area Education Agency have presented this award to two instructors within a 40-mile radius of Emerson--Lakin's hometown. One winner each in the elementary and secondary categories will receive $12,500--$10,000 for the teacher, the other $2,500 goes to the school district.

Congratulations Mr. Hart!
